*note that Advanced week is June 9-15  (some registrations were sent out with the wrong date listed on them)

special note:   IF YOU ARE COMING TO THE FARM FOR CAMP, LESSONS OR SCOUTS, PLEASE CHECK AHEAD OF TIME TO BE SURE THERE ARE NO DETOURS AT ROUTE 11 AND ROUTE 90.   YOU MAY HAVE TO EXIT GOING NORTH ON RT 11  INSTEAD OF SOUTH, DUE TO A RAMP RE-BUILDING, AND JUST GO TO THE NEXT EXIT (SEVEN HILLS ROAD), AND TURN AROUND AND COME BACK SOUTH AGAIN.   THEY ARE GOING TO TEAR UP THE OTHER RAMP SOON, AND I DON'T EXACTLY KNOW WHEN.  SO IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE WEST, (CLEVELAND OR MENTOR, ETC), YOU COULD EXIT AT ROUTE 45 (AUSTINBURG, oHIO) AND TRAVEL SOUTH (RIGHT) TO THE 2ND LIGHT..WHICH SHOULD BE ROUTE 307 GOING EAST.  TAKE 307 EAST TO THE FIRST STOP SIGN (ABOUT 5 MILES), AND THAT IS RT 46.  TURN RIGHT AND GO THROUGH THE TOWN OF JEFFERSON UNTIL YOU SEE 307 GOING EAST AGAIN .  STAY ON 307 EAST UNTIL YOU SEE EAST UNION ROAD (ABOUT 2 MILES) ON YOUR RIGHT.  TURN ONTO EAST UNION ROAD (RIGHT), AND GO ABOUT 1.5 MILES TO THE FARM ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF EAST UNION.   (NOTE : IF YOU COME TO ROUT 11 , YOU WENT TOO FAR ON EAST UNION,) COME BACK ONE ROAD TO THE SOUTH.

SORRY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, BUT THEY DON'T ALWAYS KEEP US INFORMED AS TO WHICH ROADS ARE BEING WORKED ON.  IF IN DOUBT, CALL ME ANYTIME WITH DIRECTIONS TO THE FARM.   440-812-3488    CANDY

Camp Forms

dates are now posted for the upcoming season of 2013.  The Farm encourages you to bring your own horse to camp; however, If you are bringing your own horse to camp, please note:  All shot records (copies)  must be brought with you on arrival.  Flue, E/W, and Tetnus, and Rabies are required, along with Strangles shots (note that Strangles will be a series of two shots if you have never had one ..  so contact your vet asap to be sure to have this done well before arrival at camp.)  Don't wait until the last minute to obtain your shots for your horse.  Normal shots are usually done yearly, but Strangles is a very contagious disease, and may not be given unless you ask your vet.   Bring along all of your grain, vitamins, supplements, etc. for your own horse.  Hay will be provided for you.  All of your own tack and grooming supplies will be needed.   Fly sprays and leg brace will be provided by you.  There is a tack shop on the camp, where you may obtain any supplies you may need.  A 10x12 stall will be provided for you.  Bedding will be provided for you.  Please bring along your own water buckets.   Any questions, please call the Farm  440-858-2244.  If you bring your own horse, there is a $85 board charge per week.   Please arrive half-hour early with your horse and equipment and trailer.  You may leave your trailer here if you make plans with the management first.  Note that prices are the same as last season.  We hope to encourage our riders to return again this year.
