TRAINING LESSONS....TRAINING CAMP
If you have always wanted to train your own horse, or purchase a green horse and train it yourself...or maybe you just want to know what makes a horse do what they do?? then training lessons are for you! Along with Training lessons offered at the farm, we will also offer camps to help you. During the summer of 2013, there are 2 training camps offered. During these two weeks, we will be working on the basics of communication, knowledge and performance with your horse (or mine if you don't have your own horse). This experience will open your eyes to what goes into the training and raising of a horse that is respectful, loving and smart! It just does not happen...you have to make it happen. I can help you here. You will begin with lessons on desensitizing your horse. I will teach you all of the tools needed, the actions needed, and the program to follow to help your horse deal with any object or action that may "spook" your horse. It will astonish you how your horse will be more "thinking" and less reactive to outside things. Trail riding becomes more fun, shows are easier for your horse, and you are on your way to a better trained horse. As you progress to more advanced training, you will find the answers to many questions you already have. When you don't know what to do, you have probably run out of knowledge. Let us help you enjoy your horses more...Join a class for training today, or call us for a reservation in the training weeks of 2013. The farm will be offering "training" days for local riders to join. Bring your horse, or use one of mine to learn with. We have a round-pen, outside rings, and indoor riding ring also. The tack shoppe located on the Farm has equipment you will need to train your horse at home. Training sticks, Training halters, splint boots, etc. Watch this web site for information on local training lessons that you can join. I will list them on the front page for you to see. Or join a sumer camp! You will be glad you did, and be on your way to a "new" outlook for this summer.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW SCHOOL HORSE TO ADD TO OUR STOCK ON THE FARM. A HORSE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 4 AND 15. NO STALLIONS PLEASE. MUST BE SOUND. NO CRIBBERS PLEASE. WE WILL BE WILLING TO TRAIN TO OUR NEEDS, BUT MUST BE BASIC RIDE-SAFE AND KIND. DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED. CALL ME WITH DETAILS OR EMAIL ME THE INFORMATION. THIS IS A HOME FOR LIFE, SO WE MUST BE SURE IT IS THE RIGHT HORSE FOR OUR CAMP. 440-858-2244 CDIFARM@ROADRUNNER.COM
