Campers and Parents and Friends.........
:

Laker enjoying pasture time
I know that the economy is lacking, and some parents are out of work. I am so sorry for this. I understand completely. We too, are struggling to keep our camp and Saddle shop going. Our camp has been in business since 1975, (Tack Shop since 1989), and will continue as long as there are girls who love horses !. We must try to fill our camps this season, to be sure we will always be here for you. The horses that we use are kept "year long" and fed and stalled and cared for by the Farm. Some camps sell their stock, and restock the following year. We do not. We keep our horses as part of our family here. To do this, we must try to fill our summer camps with girls who will love and ride them for the seasons. We appreciate all of the past and present campers, and are continuing to try to find new campers that will join our family of horse-loving girls. Please consider helping the farm out by referring other campers. You need only to talk with them about your experience at the Can-Do-It Farm in the past. If they sign up for 2013, we will not only be grateful, but will credit you with $$$ in the Tack and Gift shop on the Farm. If you are a previous camper from last season, and you refer a new camper that has not attended the camp before,...they sign up for a week or half week of summer camp this season, you will receive a credit ($25 for full week, and $12.50 for a half week) that you may use during your stay at camp this season. We hope this will encourage your campers to talk to other horse loving girls that may want to attend a horse camp this year. We appreciate your help in advertising our small camp. Thank you
Consider referring a new camper to the Farm. Those riders who will be attending a camp this season may "refer" another camper to attend the Farm. It does not matter if the camper attends "your" week, or another week during the summer. You will receive $25 for a camper that signs up for a full week, and $12.50 for a camper that signs up for a half week of camp during the same season as you attend.
This is a great way to go to camp with your "horse" friends, or introduce a friend to the great sport of riding. There are camps for beginners and advanced riders available for you and your friends.
$25 ... credit in Tack Shop if you refer a friend that signs up for any full week of camp
$12.50...credit in Tack Shop if you refer a friend that signs up for any half week of camp for 2013.
Advertising in this way will make sure that the girls that love horses will find our Farm. We do not have the money to invest in big advertising, as we only take 15 girls each week. I depend on my campers to talk with their friends about the camp, and the credit in the shop gives them some spending money while they are on the Farm during their camp sessons.
We have new horses and counselors to meet this summer, and I am expecting a great season. Erin Striegel (Red), will be our head counselor this season. We will introduce you to a new counselor soon.
Note that we are looking for a great school horse to add to our riding stable. If you know of a horse, or someone who is looking for a great home for a horse that is no longer used by them, we are willing to consider giving the right horse a great home for life. call me with any ideas you may have this season.
Please help us out if you can
